This past Wednesday, FIRST released its videos and information about this year's FIRST Lego League competition, called HYDRO DYNAMICS.
This is an international robotics competition is open to children in 4th to 8th grade. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), is a youth robotics organization that runs global robotics competitions for children in 1st to 12th grade.
The FIRST Lego League competition challenges kids to build a robot using Lego Education EV3 kits and program them for a 2:30 minute long autonomous match, where the robot tries to complete as many tasks as it can in the time period. The students also research and create a solution to a problem concerning the season's game topic that year.
At the end of the season, in the spring of the next year (April 2018), the best teams from all over the globe compete in an international competition showcasing all of FIRST's four robotics competitions.
The Robot Game and Project Videos are listed down below for you to watch. Enjoy and good luck to competing FIRST Lego League teams!
